God the Father

Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

It is God the Father who created the heavens and the earth. It is God the Father who is worthy of our praise and worship.

John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”

It is God the Father who put forth a plan to redeem you and me. It is God the Father who is worthy of our praise and worship.

Revelation 4:8-11
And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and day and night they do not cease to say,

“HOLY, HOLY, HOLY is THE LORD GOD, THE ALMIGHTY, WHO WAS AND WHO IS AND WHO IS TO COME.”

And when the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, to Him who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders will fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and will worship Him who lives forever and ever, and will cast their crowns before the throne, saying, “Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.”

Unfortunately, many believers today are worshiping the Holy Spirit rather than God the Father.

Revelation 22:8, 9
I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things. But he said to me, “Do not do that. I am a fellow servant of yours and of your brethren the prophets and of those who heed the words of this book. Worship God.”

It is God the Father who is worthy of our praise and worship.

So...

Who do you praise?

Who do you worship?
