Wi-Fi

An analogy...

In today’s world of iPads, video games and Smart TV’s most people probably have a Wi-Fi connection in their home.

In our analogy the believer is the iPad, the Internet is the Father and the Wi-Fi connection is the Holy Spirit.

1 John 4:13

By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. 

And just as the Wi-Fi connection links the iPad to the Internet so too the Spirit links the believer to the Father.

Unfortunately however, there are many believers out there who are trying to carry out the work of the Father but who are not using the Wi-Fi connection.

They are carrying out the work of the Father by the power of their own flesh rather than by the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

John 16:13

“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.”
