Do’s and Don’ts

What did Jesus do?

John 1:18

No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.

Matthew 4:17

From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

John 4:31-34

Meanwhile the disciples were urging Him, saying, “Rabbi, eat.” But He said to them, “I have food to eat that you do not know about.” So the disciples were saying to one another, “No one brought Him anything to eat, did he?” Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to accomplish His work.”

Jesus explained the Father.

Jesus preached the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus did the will of the Father and accomplished His work.

What did Jesus not do?

Jesus did not demonstrate.

Jesus did not protest.

Jesus did not boycott.

Jesus explained, preached and did the will of the Father.

Jesus did not demonstrate, protest or boycott.

A true follower of Jesus will do the things that Jesus did and not do the things that Jesus didn’t do.
