Hated and Loved

John 15:22-24

“If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. He who hates Me hates My Father also. If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated Me and My Father as well.”

Many people living during the time of Jesus were ruled by their flesh and they hated Jesus because He revealed to them their sin.

John 8:44

“You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”

Many people living during the time of Jesus had the devil as their father.

And things are no different today - with one exception...

There are religious leaders today who preach a gospel different from the Gospel that Jesus and the Torah teach.

There are religious leaders today who are loved by the people.

And these are the same people who are ruled by their flesh and who have the devil as their father.

You and I must beware of religious leaders who preach a gospel contrary to the Gospel that Jesus and the Torah teach.

You and I must beware of religious leaders who are loved by the people.
