One with the Spirit

Luke 12:11, 12
“When they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not worry about how or what you are to speak in your defense, or what you are to say; for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”

Luke 21:12-15
“But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and will persecute you, delivering you to the synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors for My name’s sake. It will lead to an opportunity for your testimony. So make up your minds not to prepare beforehand to defend yourselves; for I will give you utterance and wisdom which none of your opponents will be able to resist or refute.”

In the first passage it says that the Holy Spirit will teach us but in the second passage it says that Jesus will give us utterance and wisdom.

John 14:16, 17
“I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.”

Jesus said that He would send us a Helper, the Spirit of truth, who will abide with us and be in us.

John 14:23
Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.”

Jesus said that He and the Father will make Their abode with us.

John 17:20, 21
“I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.”

Jesus said that we will be in Him and that we will all be one.

So what does all of this mean?

It means that Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit are One.

It means that Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit will be in us and we will be in Them.

It means that you and I are one with each other.

All because the Holy Spirit (the Shekinah) came to dwell within us when we first believed.

So…

Are you one with the Spirit?
