John

John 1:6-8

There came a man sent from God, whose name was John. He came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe through him. He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light.

John the Baptist was not the Light, but people came to believe in the Light through him.

You and I are like John the Baptist. We are not the Light, but people can come to believe in the Light through us.

So how did John get people to believe in the Light?

He simply testified about the Light.

So how can you and I get people to believe in the Light?

We can simply testify about what our Father has done for us.
